T2G théâtre de Gennevilliers on strike

The theatre explaines: "Those of us at T2G wish to remain in a state dialogue and consultation. And not one of anathema or binary and simplistic statements. A decision was born from these discussions. Here at TG2 we defend the high ideals of theatre art and emergence. For us, not performing is inconcevable. Yet, this is what we must do. Performing would be inappropriate and indecent vis a vis our fellow artists who have renounced showing their work today, in order to defend a better 'tomorrow'. Indeed, there is no ambiguity here; tomorrow is in danger. We ask the Labour Minister not to approve the new UNEDIC agreement and certain impoverishment of an already precarious worker. That which we defend, we defend for all."
